Feeling a bit taxed by Trax? Fear not - you can find out everything you need to know by reading this Trax FAQ.
Head to the Traxstore to pick up your Traxmachine and your favourite Traxpacks from the Traxstore. You can also buy them from the Hotel Catalogue, available in every guest room. Just click the catalogue icon at the bottom of the screen.
Unfortunately, you can only save one track to a Trax machine, at this time. If you create a new track it will overwrite your saved track. The next version of Trax will include multi-track saving and track exporting.
Once you have made your track you can listen to it by clicking the play button. To save your Trax click the save button (disk icon); to delete, click the trash button.
To show the Sound Studio interface, double click on the Traxmachine and click 'Open'.
Traxpacks will automatically appear in your Traxmachine if they are in your hand. You can also drag the Traxpacks onto the same square as your Traxmachine (in your guest room).
To add the Traxpack into one of the four Traxpack slots, just click it. To eject it just click on eject above the traxpack.
The blue sound icon on the bottom right-hand corner of your Hotel screen needs to be set to “on” for you to hear sound.
No, but you can trade the Traxpacks.
Roll your mouse cursor over a sample to listen to it. To add it to your track, click on it once and then click again on the mixing deck where you want the sample to appear.
Each Traxpack contains 9 sound samples, each ranging from 1 to 5 seconds in length.
PLEASE NOTE: the blue sound icon on the bottom right-hand corner of your Hotel screen needs to be set to “on” for you to hear sound.
